As an authorized instructor of the Ying Jow Pai Kung Fu School Association under Grand Master Leung Shum, Sifu Lomax is dedicated to passing on the traditional teachings of authentic classical Chinese Kung Fu to the community.The curriculum includes joint manipulation, locks, and inside up-close and personal fighting techniques, forms, lion dance as well as Chi Gung exercises, numerous weapons, martial tumbling, and the more complex routines of the system, including two and three person sets.
His philosophy is to drill the basic fundamentals of the Eagle Claw system until they are instinctual. Although the Eagle Claw style is executed with precise style and elegance, the focus is not for show or tournaments. ![]() As a powerful internal martial art system that includes a range of forms, weapons training, pushing hands exercises, grappling, sweeps, joint locks, and breaks, as well as the more well-known meditative components, it is well suited for practitioners of all experience levels and ages. Students range from ages 8 to 60s with diverse martial arts background and experiences. Some are new to the martial arts and are training for the first time while others have trained previously and are now learning a whole new dimension of martial art skills. ![]() Together, the students form a school environment that is friendly, inclusive, as well as serious and dedicated. Whether in a street confrontation or the daily challenges of life, the students will be well prepared by the physical and psychological training provided by the school.
